President’s Blog – August 2022

I have completed my first month as Club President and no casualties yet.  It has been an easy introduction to being President of this brilliant Club.  I’ve chaired 3 meetings, had the pleasure of donating money to two local charities – Fair Frome and Active and In Touch – and we have had a social event where no fund raising was concerned!  Yup, we do manage the occasional get together, but most of our time together as a Club is for fundraising. 

August is a quiet month on the Lions Calendar, although there is a lot of behind-the-scenes work going on, the Park Ride as shown above – more details on the website – the Tree of Remembrance and of course the much loved Christmas Float.
