About us

Frome Lions Club was chartered in 1967, so we have been serving the community in Frome for well over 50 years. We are all volunteers, drawn from all walks of life and mixed gender & age ranges, and currently have around 25 members.

Welcome

Welcome to Frome Lions Club!

Below are few snippets about Frome Lions, but please explore the website further – and do come back for the latest info and new posts.

Thanks for taking the time to drop in and I hope to hear from you.

What we do

Frome Lions hold numerous fundraising events each year, annually raising over £25K. Some events, such as the Santa Float, Golf Day & Sporting Dinner you may be familiar with, others less so.

In addition, we hold community events, including the Annual Fete in Victoria Park each summer, and the Park Ride on the old Showfield in September.

We also enjoy ourselves – holding barbeques, walks and visits – as well as monthly meetings.

Who we help

Nearly all the money we raise is used to support local community organisations, individuals and regional charities. Each year we also support international disaster appeals through Lions Clubs International.
