Presidents’ Blog – January 2021

Firstly, a big thanks to the people of Frome for supporting the Tree of Remembrance & the Santa Float this year – details of the total ££ raised will be released shortly and your generosity will help the Lions & Rotary clubs support individuals, families & local organisations throughout 2021.

Like many charities, we rely on our members to ‘do stuff’ to generate all our income, so that all the profits we generate from events can be given away. We all live locally and are from all sorts of backgrounds – why not join us?

Time moves on and as we all look forward to getting back to ‘normal’ there will still be many who need our support. Lions believe in Serving our Community in all sorts of ways – events, supporting the initiatives of other groups and helping those in difficulty. Lions Clubs exist in over 200 countries around the world and work internationally through LCIF in disaster relief and health projects.

So why help make a difference this New Year and become a Lion in 2021?
