Tree of Remembrance 2025

Once again we will be erecting our Tree of Remembrance in front of Rook Lane Chapel in Bath St Frome with our thanks to NVB Architects.
The tree and lights are there to help you remember your departed loved ones or memorable causes and at the same time assist a worthy cause at this special time of year.
All donations to the tree will be used by the Lions to support an appeal by RUHX, the official NHS charity of the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS foundation Trust, to install a new PET-CT scanner. The trust is endeavouring to raise £4 million over the next 3 years to invest in installing a new scanner and build two additional uptake rooms in the Radiology Department. This will enable the hospital to increase patient scans from the current 10 per day to 17.
A short Carol Service and Blessing of the Tree conducted by the Rev Jill Warren will take place at Rook Lane Chapel at 6.30 pm on Monday 1st December to which members of the public are most warmly invited to attend.
After the service, the Lions invite attendees to join them for a mince pie and mulled wine to celebrate the festive season and also if you wish would give you the chance to find out about their charity work in the community and the different causes they support throughout the year.
