About Frome Lions

The Lions Club of Frome was started by a small group of communuty-minded people in September 1966.  It was officially chartered on the 14th of March 1967.

The Charter Certificate of Adam Tredgett, our first president

We currently number 25 people from Frome and the surrounding villages. We come from all walks of life, the main thing we have in common is a wish to help our local communities.

Since Lions came to Frome in 1967, the Club has been supporting its local communities constantly.

All the money raised by the Club goes to charity, we pay our own administration and are all enthusiastic volunteers.  It is important to us that all we do is enjoyable and we have fun.

You can see some of the things we do by using the menu tabs near the top of the page.

As well as our community support we make time for social activities, including dinners, barbeques, walks and visits.

If you feel you would like to know more about us, please contact Lion Mark Symes or phone 01373 467844 or use our contact page and we will get back to you.
