Presentation to Frome Market Health Hub

One of the last duties of outgoing Frome Lions President Dan Norris was to present a cheque for £1500.00 to Martin Brown the Chairman of the Frome Market Hub at Standerwick which was the proceeds from the clubs latest annual haybale fundraiser. Every year for the last thirty years the Lions have sought the help of the farming community in the Frome area by asking them to donate bales of hay or straw or to make a financial donation. A team of Lions visit the outlying farms in the autumn to collect the hay which is then sold to farms who require additional amounts or who have not made any and the proceeds are donated to the Lion’s chosen charity. This years charity is the new Richard Oatley Wellbeing centre at Standerwick Market
