Supporting Green Frome

Frome River Bank Daffodils

In 2020 over 1,000 new daffodils were planted on the banks of our river, on the land managed by Frome Town Council and Frome Lions launched an appeal to the town in 2021 to buy more bulbs for planting that autumn, raising over £300. Frome Lions continue to support FTC in planting the riverbank daffodils – with another 500 bulbs being added in autumn 2022.

Tree Planting & Hoedown

The Club are also active in supporting Tree Planting around the town and members help with both litter picking and gutter weed-clearing (Hoedown).
