A First for Frome Lions

Following on from Frome Lions Club’s 50th anniversary, the club is pleased to welcome its first lady, Beverly Windley, as a new member of the club.

The club says, “It is particularly appropriate Beverley has joined as her late husband, Roger, served Frome Lions for 24 years including being President on three occasions.

“In many ways Beverly is not new to Lions as she always supported Roger’s many roles and activities. She has contributed much computer back-up work in the past, as well as being a key member of the refreshment tent at the Lions Fete and charity Golf Days.
